Water Color Your World is a product of Baked Potato Productions. The first question everyone asks is, “Why Baked Potato Productions?” At the same time I was starting my art business and studying different media, we purchased a vintage Airstream. It looked like a huge aluminum foil wrapped baked potato. We promptly dubbed it “The Baked Potato” and because it brought many smiles and happy dreams, it was a perfect fit for my business name.

Through the years I have taken intermittent art classes starting in 1978 through the 1990’s.  In 2003, I began to create custom pet portraits, combining my love of animals and watercolors. I later added house and business portraits, along with a mixed category of “Things You Love” which ranges from a favorite stuffed animal to a special car from past or present.

My art is created from photographs, which give me insight into my clients and their animals. I am able to connect with the animals and their owners through their pictures, taken in their own environment and with various poses, giving me an idea of how individuals view their pets.

I have been rewarded and blessed by the lasting memories I have created for people who love their pets. Learning the importance of each animal in the lives of their humans and knowing they are happy to have a special moment in time captured in a portrait of their loved one is a constant pleasure.
